Remembering the Fallen Soldiers

We should be grateful to the ones fallen for our liberty and future. Thank you for all you gave up in the name of freedom. At this time please help and support these amazing people. Please show respect for what they have earned. Please take time to know them and their amazing stories. Be grateful for time with them. We never forget what they have done in our behalf. On a personal note, we have family members that have served. Today, while visiting the Oregon fallen soldier's memorial Marvin had the opportunity to meet with a veteran at the memorial site. Special thanks to pianist Mike Strickland for his service not only on field, but through his music also. Thank you once again. God bless all veterans.

McMinnville Creamery goes up in smoke.

Quite the afternoon in little old McMinnville. Our little creamery goes up in smoke. Multiple fire departments can to assist in extinguishing the flames. Traffic is beening rerouted and people were askes to shelter at home. Businesses near by were ordered to close and evacuation orders given. We hope all the workers at Organic are safe. We feel bad for the surrounding business that may have received any damage due to this fire. We as always will over come our adversity. Be strong McMinnville.

Lunch for Two

Hello everyone its Anne and Butch. We just had a very inspiring lunch. We heard Bert's Chuckwagon had rolled into McMinnville and set up in Staples parking lot. They are only open Friday thru Sunday for lunch or early dinner as they close up about 6 pm. We tried the Family Tri Tip with the best coleslaw and gooey mac and cheese. We also ordered a half rack of ribs. This lunch was spectacular. Not to be unfair to the other lunch vender, we stopped at Mediterranean Grill also sharing the same parking lot. We got a Lamb Gyro which wasn't half bad. We had a little wait for our meals to be prepared, but seem to feel like it was worth the wait. We definitely would recommend giving these places a try. We look forward to more adventures in the near future, so just stay tuned to see what's next.
